Reluctant to visit my native

Question

My parents have been forcing me to my grandparents' home for the past 5 years. I enjoyed visiting as a child, but now I find no social activity, no one of my age, and no where to go since it is a village. Although my grandparents are affectionate towards me, my interests, lifestyle choices, and goals are different. I find them highly conservative and superstitious. I cannot bear staying there for 2 months! It makes me miserable and lonely, but no one understands me. My parents think I am stubborn and disobedient

may be negotiate ask them to let u go for 1 week, instead of 2 ,

months, give them excuses like assignment, projects, etc, that u can't live there for 2months.

They've never considered my opinion. I wish I could give them an excuse, but I'm currently unemployed. Going through a tough phase, but atleast I'm in my comfort zone at home

I have graduated years back, yes. Trying to keep myself occupied somehow and stay sane.. Atleast I'm in my safe zone here. Don't wanna go anywhere right now

@tomatoe - I think that's  ur parents may think, u need to go out of home(from their perspective) , also ur grandparents are mostly likely to be old, they want to spend all time with u while they can. I can only say try talking with ur parents, I don't see any other way.

I'll only have to argue! Trust me, I've spent enough time with my grandparents, more than most people do. And I'm so grateful for that because I do value them. But my lifestyle and goals are different now. I don't want to be stuck there with nothing to do except use my phone. Anyway thanks a lot for for your comments @skylar :)
