Scared that I'm pregnant

In the last two weeks our therapists have answered 211 queries related to mental health.

My periods are very late at this point so I took a pregnancy test a few hours ago. It came out positive. I'm only 21, in last year of my college graduation. Getting pregnant right now will ruin my life, I can't even begin to imagine my parents' reaction. I can't gather the courage to go see a doctor. I had applied to go to the UK after my grad but I can see my future sinking right in front of my eyes. I think I'm even experiencing panic attacks.

You need to take a deep breath and calm down. Whatever might be the outcome, you need to know the reality so go to the doctor as soon as you can. I'm not well-informed about the technicalities of abortion but it could always be a choice. Before you take any step just come out clean to your partner and if possible your parents.

Have you told your partner about this yet? If not, then you should. It's his responsibility to support you through this situation. It's a long life and nothing can ruin you as long as you're determined to come out strong. See your doctor first and then decide how to approach the situation.

if its early you have an option to abort....But please think about what you really want and what will make u more happy...Also dont give up on your dreams..

well take another test to reconfirm. Post that since you dont want to be pregnant right now there are other means like excessive exercises, and some fruits etc which I believe can abort since it is at the starting stage only. Try that or reach a gyno privately or with bf to see what they can do.

I'm in relationship right now. but I don't know why I don't like to stick with one guy. I like to explore.
