Schizophrenia and mania

In the last two weeks our therapists have answered 211 queries related to mental health.

I feel like there's someone trying to hurt me all the time and I get visions about him sometime. It's like he's always following me but when I tell the people around me, I'm called a liar. One of my friends is a psychology student and she said that I might have schizophrenia, I know nothing about this disease and I'm so scared. I think I'm in real danger.

Hey, The best thing to do right now would be to consult a psychiatrist. Meanwhile try to stay close to friends and family so that they can keep you grounded and not wind up in your thoughts.

Schizophrenia leads to hallucinations and a creation of alternate reality. If you're struggling with either of those things, you're probably suffering from the condition but get a proper diagnosis ASAP.
