Not a expert but usually I distract myself by watching a movie/tv series or listening to calm music. It really helps get my mind of things

I think you should try to be mostly with either your family or siblings, so you would be consciously aware that you don't have to do it. Try to keep yourself busy. Are you also getting indulged into bad movies?
