set an alarm for the day. Say one her starting from this to this time. and make sure u follow this. U cannot completely avoid social media, but giving it specific time will help you overcome the contineous addiction.

It's quite late reply.. bt if possible keep your mobile switched off or on scilent for a week or 2 and (you can set a time to use mobile in a day. bt for rest of the day keep it switched off.) for first 1-3 days it will be really hard. But in those 1-3 days you will get involved in other things like study, work or talking to family and frnds face to face. after a week you will not be that interested in social media as you were earlier. (cause you will start feeling good for doing imp stuff and you are not wasting time on social media). After that you can keep focus on study and work while mobile is still being used.
