how do i deal with abusive parents. My dad physically abuses my mother right in front of me and i feel so helpless. It was so bad that she got a giant bruise on her forehead. My mom on the other hand, always calls me a failure and talks about how her life would've been better if i was never born. I feel so anxious all the time that i can't even talk to my friends. Is there anyone who understands me?

Hey! Thanks for reaching out. I am sorry to hear this, you must be going through a lot, I can understand and only imagine how traumatizing it must be for you. I think everyone in the family is only displacing anger on one another. Do you think anyone from the extended family can help you in talking to your mother regarding her behavior towards you?
