Hi pittyful, I suggest you stop using shampoo and use natural soapnuts. Maybe there's water problem in ur area, for your hair buy some mineral water and use it. It will work for ur hairloss. Also, start having "Biotin" tablets it's good for hair. My aunt lost all her hair due to thyroid.but she started using onion juice on her hair before head bath and also prepared onion oil. Her hair started growing and we cant see that baldness much . U can try this. Also, eat lots of fruits and vegetables, drink water and do hair massages using fingers. Hair massage stimulates ur roots and promotes hair growth Hope the above helps

Minoxidil works at hair follicular level. It takes time to show results. As I said initially you will hairfall. And you'll have to apply it for an year at least. And if your hair loss is genetic then yes you might have to use it forever. But it's just a topical application like oil/hair styling gel with no side effects at all.
