So if she thinks something else you could maybe explain to her and also why you like those friends maybe she will understand and it could be also that she will allow you for the future more. Did you try to explain yourself? Many people overreacting because they don't understand something. And even if you broke her faith something like that can build up again and don't forget it's your mother. Mother love their children regardless even tho they do not always show it.
