Try understanding him. It’s a very early stage and with the right treatment he can recover. Hve you started his therapy? You need to be strong

Become an expert on your child. Figure out what triggers your kid’s challenging or disruptive behaviors and what elicits a positive response. What does your child find stressful or frightening? Calming? Uncomfortable? Enjoyable? If you understand what affects your child, you’ll be better at troubleshooting problems and preventing or modifying situations that cause difficulties. My son is almost two and he doesn't talk yet. I know it frustrates him. It does the same for me as well. I try to talk to him but as he does is make noises and I don't know how to deal with that.

i think its too early to say if these are signs of autism or not. sometimes the child is not attentive and we think something must be wrong with him. bt may be the child is only focussing on something that HE finds interesting...not what YOU want him to take an interest in.

Check his developmental milestones. Are you keeping a track?
