I'm joining college for my masters next month. I feel anxious about it. I grew up in a joint family with 13 other people around me. I'm not good with making friends and don't adopt to change easily. Without my family I'll be completely alo e there.

cybicaltomatoe4 I started my College in 2014 Delhi University. I used to feel the same like what am I gonna do without my school buddies.. i am an introvert but an internet gangsta.. but in few days i got used to new place and new people don't worry about it . world is beautiful people are nice

your language, or where u are from doesn't matter. what actually matters is your feelings. and no one here is going to judge you. trust me.

cybicaltomatoe4 First of all you don't have to force yourself to talk to people. if you're fine on your own don't force yourself it's not mandatory. Most of the time you don't even have to approach people.. people start talking to you in places like school college workspaces etc. and if you feel your control over the English language is not so good you can talk in whatever language you're comfortable in . I am assuming you preffer talkin in Hindi .

I do. But, it's a very reputed institution. Everyone over there, will be conversing in English only

cybicaltomatoe4 in that case start practicing English.. you'll gain control over the English language in no time .. i passed out in 2014 from school i used to speak absolutely zero English.. but in my first year i started watching English movies web series etc .. reading English novels. it really helped me alot in learning English.
