We appreciate your courage to reach out to us. We also appreciate the efforts and persistence you have shown for your exams. It's okay to feel nervous about the results.
The result is something we cannot control but you can definitely manage your stress.
Here are few tips which might help:
1. Calm down and breathe deeply. Remember that you did the best you could in the present circumstances.
For example, say to yourself: I prepared as well as I could with the time and resources I had. I demonstrated the knowledge I hold in the present moment. I am proud of my work.
2. It is quite possible that in such circumstances we tend to replay the negative situations in our minds. This process is called rumination. Avoiding negative thoughts would help you manage stress. You can try practicing mindfulness and rewarding yourself for your efforts.
If you find yourself ruminating without stop, see a counselor. Counselors can help you learn additional strategies to stop rumination.
