I'm 16. My mum doesn't let me wear what i want. She judges me for wearing makeup. Whenever i ask her to buy me clothes which doesn't cover my hands. She says that I'm a spoiled brat. When we got into a fight, she said "all you do is waste your time on stuff like this, you'll nevere be able to achieve something in your life. You should just take your clothes off and dance on the streets. You'll get some amount of money if you do that." I felt so terrible. Why don't i get to wear what I want in an environment where everyone dresses the same. Why are girls always judged for what they wear?

I think you should first try to strengthen your bomd with her and then put up your point of how you want things to be like. Are you close to anyone else in the family?

I don't wanna be close to her. She always thinks bad for others. I don't wanna be like her. She watches a lot of reality shows and trys to act like em with me. I don't like her at all.....

Whenever i wanna go out with my friends or get my friend to go out with my family, she always puts up conditions....which I don't like. She just uses me for her needs.

Well if you are indian then u should try to understand mixing western culture into indian culture is very destructive.. India is still a 3rd world country ..men here are not habitual to the half naked titties culture yet.... You can wear whatever you want True. Just be careful and responsible and keep in mind this is India not Europe or America

I am sorry you have to go through this . The best thing you can do right now is emotionally distance yourself from your parents for some time .
