The fact that your boyfriend did not break up with his girlfriend when he first started dating you itself seems suspicious to me. From what you've shared, I get the feeling that he never intended to break up with her in the first place. Secondly, breaking up with you indirectly, via his friends, was absolutely cowardly. I really wouldn't recommend that you wait for this guy or make attempts to get him back or talk to him. If you feel you want closure, you may try to contact him but honestly, you will be better off without him. Remember, if someone can cheat on their partner with you, they sure as hell can cheat on you with someone else as well. The pain you must be going through will get better with time.
