My mother is under treatment for schizophrenia and anxiety for past 6 years. Her brother died recently and I don't know how to tell her this. I also have to take her to the maternal home. I'm worried about her mental health. When she gets nervous her hands starts shaking. Her age is 55. Please guide me throught this doctor.

Hey Deepak, The situation your in is really difficult and I understand your pain. Your doing a great job in taking care of your mother. I think you've taken a right decision on not telling her about her brother death, she might feel betrayed when she comes to know at least you will not further cause any trauma. Tell her when the time is right. Continue her treatment and do the best for her. Keep her happy and cheerful :). Tc
