just relax and take a long breathe! I know it won't help all the time but trust me you'll feel much better and don't overthink about something which is never gonna happen and whenever you feel like you're overthinking just develop an habit where you can forget about it and concentrate on something else for example drawing, music just try this once I hope it will help you!

thanks but even while listening to music my mind is making different scenarios and i feel more anxious

even I experienced same thing and I guess I'm still facing it I always imagine and overthinks about things which never gonna happen but I'm still struck in past and letting it effect my present and future so I'm keeping myself busy all the time and whenever I get anxiety attack or something I'm listening music, watching dramas or drawing but I'm never letting my mind think about it

I'm always telling myself that it's never gonna happen again and nothing is gonna happen but remember don't let you mind control you so whenever you feel like overthinking just don't concentrate on it involve yourself in other things if you do this frequently you'll get habituated to it
