i am also an introvert. Firstly, u have to accept your personality . The way you are. This is the first step of bringing confidence. When you have confidence and u love yourself the way you are, you will behave in that manner towards new people. This approach will further create positivity in your mind and around your friends circle. As a result, social anxiety will automatically reduce.

Don't try hard to make friends cause it backfires...I met a friend a year back, he is a total introvert even he wants to speak he wouldn't call cause he thinks he is not happening...me on the other hand keep texting or calling him n then he does respond...it's the same even now. may be you know someone who does the same to you . just pick the phone talk drop a message
