what should I do if I feel attacked by my own family? I am the oldest hence I have the responsibility of taking care of them in future which ofc I would absolutely do but the way they have been burdening me with my career, my life choices so that I would be able to provide for them .. but what about my own choices? I want to be my own person but also want to repay my parents for their sacrifice

I'd say never feel guilty for keeping your dreams your priority but know that the career you want to choose is something you'll never quit on. if you can prove them that what you want to do is secured. if you're comfortable what is it that your parents want you to do and what YOU want to do career wise??

they want me to choose a career with stability and high money input but I want to be a cook, and because it does not appeal them enough they named it as my hobby
