Take it from someone who dated a foreigner for 2.5 years and got engaged, that I ruined my education for and didn't marry, you are wasting your time. You do not know him, people can pretend to be nice online and be awful people in person. You say you want to escape your family, but if I could go back now and ignore him so I could spend more time with my dying grandfather instead, believe me I would. You may not like your family now, but there are some very bad people out there who will pretend to be your friend or lover in order to out you through awful things and you do not know if they are genuine. Please do not do this to yourself. Your family love you, your online friend may not. Good luck.
