im 16 and I have a narcissistic father who I'm afraid of. And I don't know how to stand up to him when he loses his shit over every single thing. He really gives everyone a tough time, especially my mom but she can't really divorce him since she's so scared of doing so. He takes advantage of that fact and blames her and us for every mistake he does and tells us we should be grateful that he's earning money for us and wishes that his kids were never born otherwise he wouldn't have faced all this and thinks he's the only one who's actually ever doing any work — he taunts my mother for being "useless" and a "coward". Even uses her gender as an insult. He's said and done many awful things but yet I cant stand up to him even if I really want to. it's frustrating now.
