Hello duckducksaras. If you are feeling sad after reading a sad poetry then I think you are a good writer :D. No kidding but sometimes people are not able to understand what you are writing and does not take you seriously. Everyone has different point of view and maybe they would have thought it as some non serious thing. No need to worry about that. If you think that your absence doesn't bother your friends then you have to make some new friends. Instead of feeling sad about the things thats happening, you should focus on what you can do about it. Try to find the solution of the problem instead of worrying.

Hey. It must be hard to not have your friends check up on you even after you posted something sad/suicidal. First, as some people have already said, poetry is not everyone's cup of tea. I, for one, am never able to understand poems my friends write and share with me; I always have to ask them to explain. So there certainly is a chance, if the poem isn't too direct, that your friends may not have understood it as you had intended. Also, sometimes we share many things on social media that we just like, not necessarily relate to. It is possible your friends may have thought of the poem this way. Basically, if you have an otherwise good relationship with them, you may want to give them the benefit out of the doubt in this case. If it bothers you too much, do try to have a talk with your friends. Take care :)

Dear death How's life? Jk. Do you know you're the mother of all the fears? And you're the only Communist in the world. I want to confess something. I am just too obsessed with you. When I was 7 years old and my dog died, I asked my mother where did he go and she said the death took him. I hated you for taking him away from me. And I waited for you to come back and take me away with you too. Some years later you returned and now this time you took away my father. Gradually you took all (I've lost the count now) my pets. Then I got a little confused that why did you always take the thing I love the most. So, I started loving myself. People around me tell that this is not how it works. You would only take me away when my time on earth is over. You're like resting for eternity. And I'm exhausted from trying to be stronger than I feel. So, let's make a deal Next time when you're around to take my cats. Take me along too. Because a part of me has died every time I lost someone. and the only part left now belongs to them.

hey duckducksaras, it's good that you are so expressive in poem no one should go through this but if you write keep on writing you would get better and I think "You Turn Yourself Around. That’s What It’s All About" and sometimes life is bitch but you keep on living

What motivated you to write the poetry? When you were writing about the suicidal elements, was there a part of you that felt it to be true for you? If so, you may not have felt sad writing it, but through it you are seeking to connect with others for a pain that is real. Have you expressed these feelings to any one close to you? It is but natural to want people around us to understand what we are going through. Social media however makes for an ineffective medium to express our needs. While some may take what you are wrote very seriously, others may think that is simply a form of creative expression. If you want to connect with those around you, consider expressing what you feel to them personally. You may be surprised at how supportive they may be once you open up. If however you feel that you are not comfortable in sharing with anyone, reach out to a therapist.

Duckducksaras, it is not hard to see the pain of loss that you feel from this poem. People may not always react the way that you'd hoped. Expressing things on social media especially leaves us open to reactions (or lack of them) that will make us feel conscious about what we share. Let that not hold you back from sharing what is true to you. With that said, if you want to be able to talk about this pain with someone, don't wait on the poem to draw that forth from another person. Reach out to the people you want support from.
