Thank you rkaka, But any suggestion on how do i cope up? I really don't want any more relations. Bcuz my heart and emotions are all into him and will always love him. Even if my parents force me to marry a Hindu boy. I can't. I can't love anybody else. I don't want to. Also I m scared overtime, since we r not in contact now, what if it makes him just a blur memory in my mind? 🙈

And also, my main fear is, if he finds someone new (which i know he will always love me) but still, what if he finds someone, moves on and gets intimate with her. It's going to break me. Completely. He was supposed to be just mine. As of now he claims to me he will also never marry his entire life cuz he loves me sooooo much but you never know what time might do and what if he forgets me????? I m all the time anxious, restless and i get palpitations.

I agree. It's the question of culture. And nobody's to blame. Bcuz we fell in love and love doesn't take cultures into consideration. Love just happens. It happens with the person. Although we have had our own relation fights as well. But we really wanted to work it out. We are veryyyy open minded as partners in respecting each other's religion. It's our parents generation which is orthodox and rigid minded. But isme hamari kya galti hai 💔 I can never stop loving him unless there's something he's don't to hurt me and I have a reason logical enough to let him go. Nobody can love me like he does. It was sooooooo blissful with him.

Ofcourse I know, our fights have also been to ugly and at that time our love goes out the window and things get negative. But we always get back, apologize and love even harder. 💜💙 It made us perfect.

I have examples in my family of my Hindu cousins who have married a Muslim (lucky enough their families have also been pretty minded) but they are sooooooooo happy. And here I am, without my man. 💔

AnuDee. I'm very sorry to hear that. It sounds like you were happy with each other. It's true that your union could be a challenging one and you may have had to face a lot of negativity from others close to you. Either ways it's not an easy decision to make. Whether you continue with the relationship and face the challenges that others will pose, or end things, it's a decision onle you can make. Both are very difficult. Stay strong. Things will get better with time.

Yes. We had a lot offff issues bcuz of another girl who he was quite close friends with. I wasn't comfortable with that sort of friendship but we still worked things out. But it just keeps haunting me that there's no reason as of now to have any negativity for him so I ll continuously keep loving him and especially bcuz we were sexually active, we were toooo emotionally indulged in each other. We did have a break period for 6-7 weeks in the middle when things didn't seem to work out. Now I don't know why he came back to me to patch up, maybe we are all tooo free right now in the lockdown to miss each other and he told me all the religious issues, we shall find solutions to it. So things were going well, but later on, too many small small issues started cropping up and we decided to let go.

But how do i let go of someone who I have been emotionally Bonded with??? I can never Un love him nor can I ever love someone else again. He's etched in my memory very strongly. 💔

There have been patterns in the past where he has just come to me when he was feeling lonely from his friends and the rest days he would neglect me and go back to his friends. But all those moments that we spent together in our private time makes me love and respect him sooooo much. I don't wanna let go of him from my memory. 😕😕😕

Hello dear, I can imagine the pain you must be going through. Letting go of someone with whom you shared so many memories with, and what are we but a collection of memories, can be hard. While I don't believe our families should make such fundamental choices (of what we study and who we marry) for us but I believe many of us are happier not defying our close blood ties..so let that be..you've decided not to pursue this. I think your fear is that who you love will forget you..he may, he may not. You can't control that. You can't control how you feel either. There is no point suppressing your emotions. Give into them for a while..feel the hurt entirely..you may even want to spy on what he's upto. Let your emotions wash through you for some time. In leaving us also people teach us lessons which we don't immediately realise at the time. If and when you feel a little better, allow yourself to do things that bring you happiness. This is one way to cope. I think it's the only way...besides that, as a society I think we are a long way off from accepting inter religious relationships. Even as individuals who are in such a relationship, you will need to have nerves of steel to protect you both from the negativity. Maybe you both decided not to. Maybe you both have other priorities? Your families are at the top? Then remember that and allow yourself to accept the choice you made.

Hey Anudee, I understand that moving on is not going to be easy. I am not saying get married to somebody else but take some time out for yourself and do things that make you happy and try to avoid his memories. Shortly, keep yourself busy. You can study further or join some online to enhance your skills or probably volunteer at a NGO once the lockdown is lifted

Our main issue in getting married is I ll have to live with his parents in the same house (joint family) so I am a strict vegetarian and he is ofcrs a non veg and also slaughters goat on Eid. So that's the whole barrier. Which we have tried coming up with so many solutions. But these technicalities and practicalities is separating us. Our love is still intact. Ofcourse overtime, if we do patch up, we will have our own fights and we will keep upsetting each other too on and off cuz our opinions are quite different in terms of how we live life. But it doesn't change our love. So we keep asking each other, if we had to only separate one day, then why did God make us meet and fall in love????? What's the learning lesson behind this? And now that we have made soooo many beautiful memories, and ofcrs intimate ones also, it is impossible to feel that way for someone else. 💔💔💔
