Start self talks . You can do it in front of mirror. develop writing skills and if you already have it then start writing poems & paragraphs.
And yes Don't forget to get well dressed. Because your look is just directly proportional to your mood and confidence
If poor academic performance leading to your low self Esteem then start Taking risks. Have a short goal and complete it within time. It'll definitely work because I've seen its results.
