okay so my elder brother and I have seen my parents fight almost our whole lives, my brother is 20 and I am 18. he lives somewhere else now. we both took our parents fighting in a diff way. he became more close about his emotions and I became sensitive. whenever I try to know his problems or talk about mine he just doesnt. like we have a sense of understanding one day and he doesnt care about how I feel the other day. he keeps on shutting my ways to reach him out. I want to know how is he and how he feels and try be a better sibling but it just doesnt work. WHAT DO I DO

simply observe and try to understand the sound of silence. the words and saying, he is trying to put in the silence. don't judge.. why he is doing this or that. you both have gone through a lot and it'll affect you in your conditioning and thinking. but don't let this way of thinking to misunderstand the distance. Understand the silence.

somehow, i relate to your brother. i tend to shut people out not because I don't want their help, but because it is my own way to cope up with problems. i isolate myself from people. just knowing that you're there whenever i need you is enough for me.
