opinion about religion

Question

I respect everyone and their faiths but I cannot respect their urge of wanting me to follow those faiths blindly. They seriously don't even know the difference between being respectful & truthful, and being a sycophant. I seriously don't know what to call a person who is not aware of the concept of agree to disagree. In my opinion religion is the biggest motivator, financer, and provoker of terrorism along with oppression, castism, violence, and depression.

When someone asks me what do you believe in or where your faith lies, I get speechless because I couldn't resolve one question i.e. do we really need a faith to cling? In other words, is rationality and logicism in life not enough to live peacefully? I think when we cling to a faith an ego also comes, and that ego is a flag bearer of ignorance, which makes things more complex or worse, and I strongly believe simplification of issues will help everyone not making them complicated.
