PTSD from abortion

In the last two weeks our therapists have answered 211 queries related to mental health.

I accidentally conceived after being intimate with my boyfriend and he left me as soon as he found out. I had to get an abortion all on my own because there was no way I could tell my parents. After the procedure the doctor told that there might be some serious complication the next time I want to have a child. So much has happened to me in the last one month that I cannot even begin to process, I'm severely depressed.

You're in a very vulnerable state right now, you need somebody beside you in real life. Try telling your mom the truth and if you absolutely can't, then tell a friend you trust. There's no point in worrying about future pregnancy, for now just take care of yourself. I hope you feel better soon.

I'm so sorry that you're going through this. You need a break, take a vacation if you can. You need to involve yourself in new experiences and activities to get over the depression.

First try to be calm. Try to digest it what all have happen and accept the fact. We can't tell to your parents tell some really close one. Don't share with many people. Rest having baby in future is always complicated. Now a days its normal to have complications. There will be some treatment for those complications. Or else you may don't even face any complications. I think whatever gonna happen will be happening in future. Right now just be calm and accept all the stuff that have happen.
