Question

I and my best friend started being in a friend's with benefits relationship but he started to propose me for marriage. I too loved him but I decided not to tell him yet since I needed more time to decide. So I kept on telling him that I'm not interested. His parents have now fixed his marriage and I know it's too late. I told him that I too loved him but never thought that his parents would fix his marriage his soon. now I regret for hiding my true feelings or at least I could have said that I need time instead of straight away saying no. Now his parents aren't agreeing to our relationship. He told his fiancee about me and she doesn't care. She still wants to marry him. I hate myself so much. I don't know what to do now. We ruined our friendship also now. Feeling so helpless
