Trauma of losing sister

Question

My sister passed away today in the morning. My whole family thinks she died because of bedsores but the truth is that she had cancer, nobody else except my father and I know. Now I have to deal with losing my sister and keeping this secret from everyone else. I don't know if I should tell them or not.

Tell them otherwise this secret would eat you day by day once u tell them you will feel light and they will also get to know the exact reason behind her death moreover your father also knows it discuss with him about the right time to let everybody know maybe everyone is not in a right condition to know just now but gradually with time they will accept it and knowing your situation will understand you too may your sister rest in peace we all are with you

I can't say I know how you feel because I don't have a sister and I've never had to lose one but I did lose a family member that was close to me and I felt very hurt by it. condolences to you and your family for losing your sister. I hope you feel better soon, it's not easy to lose someone close to you. personally I would tell them because eventually one day they'll learn the truth and it will hurt more, this will also be a good way for you to open up to your other family members
