Traumatized by Cheating

In the last two weeks our therapists have answered 211 queries related to mental health.

I caught my husband cheating on me with my neighbour. What's worse is that I walked in on them while they were engaged in the act. I just can't shake off the image from my mind. My marriage, self-esteem, and trust have been shredded to pieces. I don't think I can ever revive from this.

Hello, I'm sorry you had to go through that. Marriage is a binding relationship but it still required people to hold their ground. I think if he was non-chalant enough to do it with your neighbour, then it wasn't a mistake. You should move on and start fresh .

Just like you, I've had trauma from relationships in the past, albeit I was not married. But all I want to say is that there's no end to life. You will soon heal and get past this. 💛
