Hey, well not a therapist here but there was a time when I felt the same thing, you can share whatever is there on your mind without hesitation no one is here to judge you :)
Actually i get that. In my case going blank is something, for example whenever i feel so stressed, depressed and sad, feel like crying, i immediately feel like i need a therapist and let my thoughts out. But immediately after some minutes those thoughts just go away, like for a moment i feel like what is happening and what just happened, where did my emotion go. BLANK. i go like i have nothing to communicate.................... But I also believe that talking out, may start like a empty paper, don't know the content, don't know where to start from, don't know how to fill the void, but therapists might have their own level of making you feel comfortable and get your thoughts out, even if you have nothing to start with, all you need is a tiny talk and Q&A session to start as a baby step and eventually u might lead to the bigger thoughts. By the way even considering to reach out to a therapist is a progression. So you are good to start ig... It's just my thought. Hope it helps u ;)
your comments does actually help, maybe it would take days for me to be comfortable to talk it all out. thank you guys. i hope someday i would have to courage to talk with a professional.
I guess shifanidsouza said it right it's that small steps we take and most important how other person can make you comfortable to speak your heart out.
it's the part of a therapist's job to make you communicate. they will take care. you just have to present yourself there
