It's great that you have something to do productive for your self that is by studying. Trying to think about the better future you will have by studying will help you .
At the same time you should know that it's okay if you have thoughts about him. Feel those thoughts but don't flow with them. Remind your self time again to distract.
Neutralising all those memories by making new memories will help you . It's a slow process but with time you will heal and transform as new being.
