I am done with my parents and their ways

Question

I am twenty years old and still don't have my license. call it fear of driving or anxiety. i cannot get myself to give the test. my parents think i am not an independent person and am nothing. now they have said that they will stop driving me around. instead of calming my anxieties they increased it. i am overwhelmed, what do I do now?

I agree with suku. Try a two wheeler as it would be easier. Overcome your fears one step at a time. And then proceed with a car

just go and drive on empty roads and then give your test... there no excuse or escape to this... your parents did the right thing

it's okay to be overwhelmed. why don't you try driving around in some video games which will give you a virtual experience of driving and as you get comfortable with that.. slowly transition to actual streets with vehicle of your choice!!

try to drive in empty roads or empty fields ,then go for less crowded streets and finally main road. take slow steps one at a time
